Your blog and shop can wear a completely different look without touching any code. Four themes ship in the box, and you switch between them instantly from Site Settings → Site Theme.

- Classic — the original design. Default, no override. \r\n
- Editorial — warm tones, serif headings, magazine-style layout. \r\n
- Minimal — black and white, clean list, Substack-style. \r\n
- Spotlight — bold, feature-forward layout. \r\n
Themes only change the /blog/ and /shop/ sections of your site — your other pages (Home, About, custom pages) are unaffected, so switching themes can never break the rest of your site.
\r\nChanging theme is instant and reversible: pick a different one, save, and your site updates immediately. There's no downside to trying a few to see which fits your brand.
\r\nSelf-Hosted: Adding Your Own Theme
\r\nIf you're comfortable with code (or working with a developer), you're not limited to the four built-in options. Create a new folder under templates/themes/<your-theme>/ overriding whichever blog/shop templates you want to change, then register it in THEME_CHOICES in pages/models.py. If a template you override uses any custom template tags, remember to re-load them in your override — otherwise the page will 500 instead of falling back gracefully.
