Your admin has a page called Djangify Owners Help. It holds a short set of files you can hand to an AI assistant, so it can help you with your shop using accurate information about how Djangify works instead of guessing. They are not manuals to sit down and read.
How to use them
- Open the Djangify Owners Help page in your admin.
- Download Djangify: what you need to know (start here) and upload it to your AI assistant first, at the start of a conversation.
- When you need help with a particular job, upload the matching file as well and ask your question.
The assistant can be Claude, ChatGPT or another one. The files give it the Djangify details. It does not know your business, so give it a short description as well. Get AI Help With Your Djangify Shop explains the idea.
What is on the page
- Djangify: what you need to know (start here): the main reference file. Upload this one first.
- Connecting your shop to Claude: step-by-step setup for the Claude connector, including whether you need a paid Claude plan.
- Setting up Stripe: getting your Stripe keys and webhook connected so checkout can take real payments.
- Email, marketing list and domain setup: connecting your sending email and your marketing list.
- Uploading your product files: formats, sizes and zipping several files into one download.
- Claude and MCP guide (PDF): a fuller walkthrough of connecting and working with Claude.
Keep your secrets out of the chat
Never paste your Stripe keys, passwords or encryption key into a conversation with an AI. The files tell the AI where things go. You type the values yourself, in your own admin or .env file.
The same files, in the documentation
The setup guides in this documentation cover the same ground in more detail. Start with the self-hosted quick start, or the managed hosting quick start.
